The Character Word of the Month for May is "Courtesy." Courtesy is being polite and having good manners. It is being considerate of others. It is a way of speaking and acting with people which gives them a feeling of being valued and respected.

living in a falling down old castle. Cassandra wants to be a mother, so she writes everything down in her journal. it will make you laugh and cry and laugh again. The characters are all very colorful and interesting. There is even a run-in (of sorts) with an escaped circus bear. Although the book was written in 1948, the story is timeless.
