Wendy McAleer told us about this great book her Mother used to read to her:
"I Had Trouble In Getting to Solla Sollew" by Dr. Seuss. I loved the picture of the birds in the tunnel, and the house that floated away in the rain. I made her read it over and over, three or four times a night. I still read it sometimes, and it makes me just as happy now as it did then.
 
Jill Adams wrote this Mother's Day haiku: I am a Mother. Boy am I tired. But over too soon.

The Character Word of the Month for May is "Courtesy." Courtesy is being polite and having good manners. It is being considerate of others. It is a way of speaking and acting with people which gives them a feeling of being valued and respected.
