I created my blog using Google Blogger in about an hour.  Google Blogger is free, but there are many other places on the web that will help you design your blog.  I've named my blog "Thinklings" in honor of the Inklings. As many of you know, we named our store Inklings after a group of writers who used to read their work to each other and discuss it in Oxford, England. The best-known members of the group were C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien and Charles Williams.

  I am a bookseller. Therefore, the "voice" of the blog is primarily that of a bookseller, a purveyor of the written word.  But I am more than a bookseller.  I am a woman, a wife, mother, daughter, and grandma, as well, so in my blog you'll hear those voices pipe up sometimes.  I'll talk about books, movies, things I've overheard, ideas, quotes, culture, faith, and the arts.  I may have to tell you about my cute granddaughter occasionally, a virtual brag book, if you will.  Occasionally, I may introduce you to a "guest blogger" and I'll certainly share other blogs that I've found interesting.  You will be able to read my irregular postings and respond with your own comments, by going to http://justsomethinklings.blogspot.com/
