Mrs. McKinney, who has entertained many Yakima toddlers with her story reading over the past year, has decided to move on to other endeavors.  While we will miss her, we wish her well with her future plans.  We are happy to report that we will soon have another individual to bring the joy of books to toddlers, Cathy Goshorn. Here is a little information about Cathy:

"I recently moved to Yakima from the San Francisco Bay Area with my husband Jeff. I worked there as a parent education instructor and preschool teacher.  Over the past 27 years I have worked with a variety of populations including special ed., teen anger management, preschool, and elementary age.  I adore children and am passionate about early childhood intervention of any kind.  I am currently reading for Imagination Library, which is a program with Circle of Success in Yakima.  Jeff and I have twin boys who will turn 21 this month.  They are both in college, one in Denver and the other in Santa Cruz."
